In cooperation with wenglor sensoric GmbH
In my fifth semester at RWU, I used the opportunity of a free project to collaborate with wenglor sensoric and create a redesign for their sensor configuration software
called "wTeach".
During my time as working student at wenglor, I came into contact with the software again and again and had to deal with the usability myself, therefore my own challenges inspired me to this project. My colleagues at wenglor were very excited and various departments and actual users supported me in the process by giving me insights in the software and how to work with it.

For this project, I have dealt thoroughly with the users, their wishes and needs and therefore analyzed the existing software extensively. I created three Personas that visualized the variety of users who work with wTeach.
By repeatedly talking to the actual users, I was able to tackle the identified Pain Points in a targeted way. I therefore tested the original design as well as my new design with them, let them think out loud and fill out a questionnaire afterwards.
The result of this project was a clickable prototype of the software, created in
Adobe XD and sustainable documentation for planned developement in 2022.
